So,
Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in the game. And no, we're not here to chat about
The Expendables sequel (do you even read the titles of our reports?), we're here for a brand new project that has quite interesting title –
Captive, and as usual with Schwarzenegger, we're talking about another action thriller.
So, anyone excited yet? No? Then what can I tell you, check out the rest of this report…
Captive will center on a successful American real estate tycoon living in Brazil. He is kidnapped and held in the prison cell of an armored truck, desperately trying to escape, while a detective specializing in ransoms searches for him.
Of course, it's not hard to guess that Schwarzenegger is set to play that real estate tycoon, and we could only guess he will eventually find his freedom. After all, he's Schwarzenegger for God's sake!
The whole thing comes from writers
Benjamin van der Veen (responsible for Che: Part Two) and
Kario Salem (responsible for The Score), but at this moment we have no idea who will be in the director's chair.
Apparently, Captive was originally developed for
Nicolai Fuglsig to direct, but according to the latest reports, the film is currently being shipped to potential directors with the hopes of shooting next year.
So, make sure to stay tuned for more updates on this one.
