Anthony LaPaglia, Russell Crowe, Toni Collette, Liev Schreiber, Alex Proyas to Direct SYDNEY UNPLUGGED

So, what do we get when Anthony LaPaglia, Russell Crowe, Toni Collette, Liev Schreiber, Alex Proyas, David Michod, Ivan Sen, John Curran, Kieran Darcy-Smith, Rachel Ward and Ray Lawrence decide to helm one short film each? We get the feature film titled Sydney Unplugged. And yes, if that sounds familiar and if you immediately think of New York, I Love You or Paris, J'Taime – relax, it's the same thing! Only this time it's Sidney baby! We have 12 stories in one movie which will represent an ode to their home city. Filming will start in Sydney in the second half of 2012, and director John Polson, founder of the Sydney based Tropfest short film festival and Arclight Films' Gary Hamilton are on board to produce this project. Sydney Unplugged will be released in Australia by Icon Film Distribution in 2013.
