Written and directed by
Jonathan Levine, the movie is based on
Isaac Marion‘s novel of the same name, and will give us a funny new twist on a classic love story. Described as a
poignant tale about the power of human connection, this horror romance centers on an unusual zombie named R who, after a zombie epidemic encounters a human survivor Julie and rescues her from a zombie attack.

Julie soon realizes that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human.
