Happily married
Anne Hathaway is ready to go back to her romantic comedy root. In other words, the skin-tight Catwoman has low self-esteem in the new film
The Low Self-Esteem of Lizzie Gillespie.
However, Hathaway is attached to star in a new rom-com from Good Universe written by
Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) and
Brent Forrester (The Office) and it looks like Kaling is also expected to take a supporting role.
The story itself follows a woman whose lack of self-worth has limited her choice in men to losers. When she thinks she's going to have to spend the rest of her life at the bottom of the barrel, things take a turn for the better when ‘the hottest guy ever' begins to pursue her.
The Low Self-Esteem project is still in development and seeking a director.
The film marks the feature writing debut of both Kaling and Forrester as all of their previous experience has been on television.
Hathaway will next be seen playing Fantine in Tom Hooper's musical adaptation of Les Miserables and is rumored to star in Steven Spielberg's upcoming sci-fi actioner Robopocalypse.
Kailing, on the other hand, voiced a character in the upcoming animated film, Wreck-It Ralph and she'll also be attending The End of the World as herself.
Oh cr*p, I almost forget to mention
John Malkovich will be an executive producer on the film through his Mr. Mudd Productions banner.
