Up in the Air star
Anna Kendrick is now attached to play the lead in another indie comedy titled
Drinking Buddies, which comes from director
Joe Swanberg.
Olivia Wilde, Ron Livingston and
Jake Johnson have joined the cast of Swanberg‘s comedy which
centers on a fun and flirtatious friendship that goes off the rails.
Livingston will play the male lead, but there are currently no details on Wilde or Johnson's roles.
Unfortunately, that's all we know about the whole thing so far, but hey, if you're Kendrick's fans, then I'm sure you're happy to hear that she's more than ready to jump into something new.
On the other hand, it's not like she's not busy young actress these days. She will next appear in
ParaNorman, and she's also attached to star in David Ayer's cop drama
End of Watch, then the musical
Pitch Perfect and we will also see her in Robert Redford's political thriller
The Company You Keep.
In the meanwhile, Kendrick will have enough time to shoot Drinking Buddies, which by the way starts production this month in Chicago.
Let us also mention that Andrea Roa, Anish Savajani and Alica van Couvering are on board to produce this comedy.
As usual – with every new update on this project, we'll be back.
