Alejandro Gonzalez Inaritu‘s upcoming comedy
Birdman is getting bigger! All of the sudden we have
Andrea Riseborough on board, which means that
Never Let Me Go star joins previously announced
Zach Galifianakis,
Michael Keaton,
Emma Stone,
Naomi Watts and
Edward Norton. I'm not sure if I actually like the movie plot, but hey – this cast is definitely awesome!
Anyway, let me once again remind you that Inaritu will direct the whole thing from a script he co-wrote with
Armando Bo,
Alexander Dinelaris and
Nicolas Giacobone, and the movie will revolve around Keaton's character, described as:
…an actor famous for having once played a popular superhero over a three day period during which he makes an attempt to mount a Broadway play.
So far we know that Stone will play Keaton's daughter, Galifianakis will play the production's conniving producer, Watts will star as an actress in the play while Norton is on board to play the lead stage actor in Keaton's play whose ego threatens the former superhero actor's comeback.
As for Riseborough, she jumps in to play the role of Laura.
Who is Laura? We have no idea, that's all we know about her involvement in the whole thing.
But, Laura looks like this, so we have nothing to worry about:
