I'm really interested in
Robert Rodriguez‘ upcoming
Machete Kills sequel, simply because some crazy cast is involved in the whole thing.
I mean, check this out –
Mel Gibson, Demian Bichir and
Amber Heard. Sounds cool, or what? They will all join previously announced
Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba and
Michelle Rodriguez, who are already set to reprise their roles from the first film.
Machete Kills picks back up with Trejo's ex-federale character, who's been recruited by the U.S. government for a very special mission – to prevent global war by taking down two targets: a terrorist and cartel leader named Mendez the Madman, and a sinister billionaire arms leader named Luther Voz who plots to create worldwide anarchy by launching a missile.
And now, as for the above mentioned cast, Gibson comes on board to play that billionaire Luther Voz, while Herd will play a manipulative assassin code-named Miss San Antonio. Bichir's part remains unknown at this moment.
Machete Kills starts production this month in Texas.
