‘Just so you know… They're sorry for everything that's about to happen' Getting you pumped for the release, Magnet has unveiled an alternate poster for
John Dies at the End.
The film is currently available On Demand via iTunes, Amazon, Xbox etc, and the makers beg you to watch their indie horror film legally. But if otherwise, you're apparently not just risking your bank account – you're risking your life.
Therefore, Magnet Pictures have also published an
anti-piracy campaign video that borrows a surreal attitude from the movie as well as
behind-the-scenes featurette for it.
This is the fourth poster that has been released of
Don Coscarelli‘s twisted looking new pic, which is, as we'd expect, quirky and whimsical, ominous and moody, but still eye catching nonetheless.
As you probably already know, an adaptation of
David Wong‘s novel appears to contain all the horror and comedy we'd associate with Coscarelli's name – from Phantasm series, via the cult 80s fantasy The Beastmaster, to the 2002 masterpiece, Bubba Ho-Tep.
The story's about two 20-somethings who stumble upon a drug called Soy Sauce appeared at Sundance last year and enters into a limited theatrical run on January 25th, 2013.
The film stars
Chase Williamson, Paul Giamatti, Rob Mayes, Clancy Brown, and
Doug Jones.
