Super-cute
Allison Miller is probably best known from NBC's
Go On, but I'm sure you also remember her from that
17 Again movie where she starred next to
Zac Efron, right? Ok then, it's time for us to report that Miller is now attached to play the female lead in an upcoming romantic comedy titled
There's Always Woodstock, which comes from director
Rita Merson!
Merson is making her feature directorial debut on the project, and at this moment we know that Miller is set to star as a girl named Catherine Brown, described as:
…a young wannabe songwriter whose big city life in Manhattan falls apart and she returns to spend the summer in her childhood home in Woodstock.
Unfortunately, that's basically all we know about
There's Always Woodstock so far, but I guess that we'll soon have more casting updates to share with you.
At the end of this report, let us also mention that Merson,
Sunrise Pictures' Peter Schafer and Jenny Hinkley are producing the whole thing, while Joe Dain and Jim Klock will executive produce the movie.
Stay tuned for more!
