Magic City star Jeffrey Dean Morgan has joined the cast of an upcoming supernatural thriller Solace! And yes, we're talking about Afonso Poyart‘s new movie which already has Anthony Hopkins and Colin Farrell on board. Doctor, serial killer, psychic powers, Hopkins… sounds promising, don't you think?
Poyart directs the movie from a script written by Peter Morgan, Sean Bailey, Ted Griffin and James Vanderbilt, and as we previously reported, the story will center on a doctor with psychic powers who is enlisted by the police to track a serial killer.
In other words – Hopkins will play a former doctor named John Clancy who has psychic abilities and is drawn into a serial-killer case. But he soon finds that the killer – played by Farrell – is a psychic as well.
I guess the fun part of the story is that the two men can detect each other's moves, right?
As for Jeffrey Dean Morgan, he will jump in to play a veteran FBI agent heading the investigation of a series of grisly murders who recruits Hopkins' character to help catch the killer.
