Here’s the first trailer and poster for next year’s
3 Days to Kill,
McG-directed actioner, starring
Kevin Costner, Amber Heard, Hailee Steinfeld and
Connie Nielsen.
This darkly comic flick which looks like a mashup of elements from McG and
Luc Besson’s most recent projects finds Costner playing an elite government hitman who quits his day job after he learns that he has a terminal disease, and decides to try to build a relationship with his estranged wife and daughter.
The script from Besson and
Adi Hasak gives Ethan Runner (Coster) additional motivation: when his agency offers him an experimental, potentially life-saving drug in exchange for ‘one last job’ for the government, he takes the gig, pitting him against a ruthless terrorist.
Richard Sammel, Tómas Lemarquis, Eriq Ebouaney and
Lamont Thompson also appears in this heart pounding action-thriller.
3 Days to Kill is set to open on February 21st, 2014.
