The big-screen adaptation of
Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel ‘Safe Haven' has been directed by
Lasse Hallstrom (The Cider House Rules).
Julianne Hough stars as a young woman who arrives in a small North Carolina town and strikes up a relationship with a widowed store owner played by
Josh Duhamel.
Yet another adaptation, hoping to repeat the box office success of 2010s Dear John, also stars
Cobie Smulders and
David Lyons and opens on February 14th, 2013.
