Fresh Guacamole is another title nominated for Best Animated Short Film for the 85th Academy Awards. It comes from director
PES, and as you’re about to see – it’s a pretty weird story that follows director as he turns ordinary objects into
Guacamole. We’re here today to share the full movie with you – make sure you check it out & let us know what you think!

Written and directed by
PES aka
Adam Pesapane, the movie is done in a stop motion style, and tells the story of a man making guacamole out of obscure objects – whenever he cuts it, it becomes something else, such as cutting a baseball in half, then dicing it into a bunch of dice.
Running time:
just 1 minute and 40 sec, but I still think this original shorty deserves your full attention.
In other words, the movie is the follow-up to Pesapane’s stop-motion hit
Western Spaghetti and follows an unseen cook uses a series of unusual ingredients to prepare a bowl of guacamole.
So, any thoughts about
Fresh Guacamole or what?

It is very creative and makes me smile…love it. I would, however, want the cilantro too.
I guess I am the only one who thinks the story and video are lame. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good guac’. But the special effects video?….lame.
