Here's the UK version of the one-sheet poster for
Robert Lorenz's tale titled
Trouble With The Curve, thanks to
HeyUGuys.
Clint Eastwood's latest and possibly last starring vehicle is box-office disappointment at the end of summer and will almost surely earn less on its opening weekend than Gran Torino earned on its seventh weekend out.
However, starring the legend who hasn't been before the cameras since Torino, alongside
Amy Adams, Justin Timberlake and
John Goodman, the film hit theaters in the UK on November 30th, 2012.
Chicago Tribune said in its review as TWTC has the Curve's premiere Wednesday night in US:
Of course the movie is sentimental. A fairy tale? Yes, it's that too. Satisfying? Yep. The key, I think, is the restaurant scene between Adams and Eastwood where she confronts him about how she was, and wasn't, raised by Gus. It's played by both actors with minimal fuss and maximum honesty.
Here's the fairly understated poster for the story of a baseball scout on one last talent hunt.
