The Words is an upcoming
Brian Klugman and
Lee Sternthal‘s directorial debut and definitely one of those projects that keeps our full attention.
Not just because we're talking about the movie that comes from
Tron: Legacy screenwriters, but also because this dramatic thriller already has great cast on board!
I mean, check it out – movie already stars
Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons and
Dennis Quaid, and according to the latest (and official) reports,
Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Ben Barnes, John Hannah, J.K. Simmons and
Nora Arnezeder will join them as well!
At this moment we know that The Words follows a writer who, at the peak of his literary success, discovers the price he must pay for stealing another man's work.
Of course, Cooper will star as the above mentioned writer, while Irons will star as that “another man”.
As for the rest of the cast – well, we have no idea, but thanks to Variety, we learned that, for example, “Wilde doesn't share any scenes with Cooper, but she plays a character who's key to what ensues.”
Michael Benaroya (Margin Call) is producing through his Benaroya Pictures banner, along with Animus Films' Jim Young and Serena Films' Tatiana Kelly. Laura Rister is exec producing with Cassian Elwes under their joint venture, Waterfall Media.
Filming is set to get underway this month, and as usual, we'll keep you updated!
