Cuaron directed the whole thing from a script he co-wrote with
Jonás Cuarón, which revolves around the above mentioned astronauts who attempt to return to Earth after debris crashes into their space shuttle, leaving them drifting alone in orbit.

Bullock is a brilliant medical engineer aka Dr. Ryan Stone, and this is her first shuttle mission, while Clooney is a veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky in command of his last flight before retiring.
Everything looks like a routine spacewalk, until…
…the shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone – tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
Gravity is set to open the 70th
Venice International Film Festival (this August) and is then set to hit theaters on October 4th, 2013.
We're definitely interested in this movie, what about you?
